Real (stylized real,-) is a European hypermarket, member of the German trade and retail giant Metro AG.

In 2006 Metro acquired Wal-Mart's 85 stores in Germany[1] and in Poland, bought 26 hypermarkets Géant from the French retail group Groupe Casino.[2] All stores were rebranded as real,-.

As well as food, real,- also offers a wide range assortment of household goods, electrical appliances, books, media, textiles and footwear, sports goods and stationery.

In addition to branded products, several own-brands are available: TiP (Toll in price), real Quality (the products must match the quality of the brand, but be more favorable), realSelection (products - mostly chocolate - from a higher standard pricing) and real,- Bio (selection of organic products).
